Final Day: Glaser in control, Stropoli chasing the bracelet

Final Day: Glaser in control, Stropoli chasing the bracelet

Mystery Day 3

From 2,195 to two tables, things are getting very serious

From 219 players at the start yesterday, only 16 remain, now seated across the final two tables to begin Day 3 of the €1,100 Mystery Bounty, the final day of the tournament. The stakes are, of course, massive : a WSOP bracelet awaits, along with the €150,000 prize promised to the winner. A reward that could still grow depending on the bounties collected, even if the biggest prizes have already been claimed. There is still a €25,000 envelope and two €10,000 bounties left in play.

All eyes will be on the last French representative, Julien Stropoli. After a night he described as perfect, “I slept really well. I’m ready for battle”, the Frenchman approaches this final with confidence. But the challenge is significant : he shares his table with the only player ahead of him in chips, Britain’s Benny Glaser.

It’s not the best draw, I would have preferred to be chip leader at my table,” he says with a smile. Especially since Glaser is seated two spots to his left, a far from insignificant position. It sets the stage for some potentially explosive clashes between the two.

A final day that promises to be intense and full of twists. At the end of the suspense, the first bracelet of the festival will be awarded, truly kicking things into gear. Good luck to all… dealer, shuffle up and deal !
